See why your EA trades, or why it does not
An EA that stops trading rarely says why. FXNook Telemetry adds a small reporting library to your MT4 or MT5 EA, and shows in your dashboard what it does in the real market: the rules it checks, the decisions it makes, the orders it sends and the trades it closes.
What you see
- Live status: online, waiting, degraded or offline, with heartbeats.
- A timeline of signals, decisions, orders, trades and errors.
- Insights: which rules block entries most often, how often each passes, and how this period compares with the last.
- Rejected orders with the broker's reason, disconnects and AutoTrading switched off.
- Optional daily AI summaries and recommendations about how the EA behaved.
- MetaTrader log import, so terminal messages join the timeline.
Added safely, in one click
Add Telemetry to my EA inserts only reporting lines, never changing how the EA trades. Every inserted line is checked, the structure is verified, the program is compiled, and running it again adds nothing. Lab-built EAs can include Telemetry from the start.
Observes only
Telemetry never sends your EA, terminal or broker an instruction, and never places, changes or closes a trade. Each connection has its own API token, reports are signed, and your broker password is never sent.
Available on plans that include it
FXNook Telemetry is part of the plans that include it, each with its own number of live EAs. See the pricing page for the current plans.
Included usage, and extra usage in credits
Each EA has a number of reported events a day included in your plan: heartbeats, decisions, orders, trades and errors. An EA that reports a lot, for example a decision on every tick, can go beyond it. The extra events are charged in small blocks of credits from your Lab balance, never more than a daily cap, and you are told the first time on a day. With no credits left, nothing is lost: the EA keeps its events and sends them the next day.
You see each EA's events today on the Live EAs page, and you agree to the FXNook Telemetry Terms of Use the first time you open Telemetry.
Questions
Does Telemetry slow down or change my EA?
No. It adds reporting lines only, runs on a timer and sends small batches. The checks prove the EA's own lines are unchanged.
Does it work on MT4 and MT5?
Yes, with a library for each platform. Your terminal must allow web requests to the Lab address, which the setup page explains.
What happens if the internet drops?
The EA keeps its reports and sends them when the connection returns, so the timeline has no gaps.
Can Telemetry cost more than my plan?
Only if an EA reports more events in a day than your plan includes. The extra is charged in credits, in blocks, up to a daily cap, as the Telemetry Terms of Use explain. Without credits the EA simply waits until the next day to send the rest.
